Hanley's First Dodger Card Plus A Contest Win

The thing I love about 2012 Topps Update Series Baseball is how they have traded players in their new uniforms. Even the last-minute blockbusters are included in this new series.

Hanley Ramirez was traded to the Dodgers on July 25, 2012. It was definitely a blockbuster trade that not many people saw coming. The Dodgers had money with their new ownership and decided to trade for Hanley by taking most of his contract. The LA logo on the card is a commemorative hat logo. I believe it's my first hat relic and I like the uniqueness.

Dan, who writes a Detroit blog called Fearing The Shadow is a good friend of mine. He holds Dodgers cards for me while I hold Tiger cards for him. He sent me a package that included this Bowman Sterling Garrett Gould Autograph for my collection.

I also won the Cardboard Connection Fantasy Baseball league despite having a record under .500. I grabbed the last playoff spot and my team got hot towards the end of the season. I was able to pick a prize for winning the league and decided to go with this 2012 Topps Tribute J.P. Arencibia Autograph. It's numbered out of 99 and it's available if anyone is interested.

I joined this new website called Listia and it's almost like eBay except you deal with credits. I was couple credit just for signing up and used it to win an auction. I'm not that excited about the website but I'll take a free card just for signing up. This 2010 Topps Series 2 Peak Performance Felix Hernandez relic is available for those interested.

  2. Love the site! Hanley card is awesome, I don't see many hat relics! I would be interested in trading for the Arencibia card. I don't have too many sticker auto cards, but I do have over 800 in person signed cards if you are interested. Just hit me up.
